A secondary math teacher turned EdTech founder. Bridging math learning gaps with personalized technology that unpacks student thinking.
WHO IS IT FOR
01 — The Educator
Six years teaching secondary math across three districts in Texas and Arizona. Designing curriculum at scale and learning exactly where traditional instruction breaks down.
ABOUT ME
Six years in the classroom opened my eyes to one recurring problem: we have no real visibility into how students think. So I built UnpackMath, a math test prep tool with integrated computer-adaptive testing, designed to unpack what each student needs next while closing the Cognitive Accountability Triangle between students, teachers, and parents.
I like think of it as a CAT that powers the CAT. ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ
WHAT I DO
End-to-end course development with the ADDIE framework. Scopes, sequences, and standards-aligned, performance-based outcomes for secondary and adult learners.
Building scalable, fully digital courses for LMS deployment. Multimedia content, interactive modules, and assessments that remove friction between a learner and a concept.
Leveraging AI to personalize pathways and accelerate development, measuring effectiveness through pre/post assessment and iterative performance data.
EXPERIENCE
Designing and improving math curriculum on a larger scale. Where the UnpackMath idea was born. Working inside a large district gave me a front-row seat to where traditional instruction breaks down and what personalized, data-informed learning could fix.
Built and scaled fully digital math courses for a diverse statewide population. Learned that good instructional design isn't about content delivery, it's about removing friction between a learner and a concept.
Refined curriculum against real performance data, collaborated across teams, and learned how to translate classroom insight into systems that actually scale.
